We are hiring Material Handlers to join our industrial rail operations in Mulberry. This is not a warehouse or forklift driving role. Instead, you'll be part of an outdoor industrial team, responsible for loading fertilizer into railcars using an overhead delivery system. The work is hands-on, physical, and safety-critical. While industrial or construction experience is a plus, the most important qualities are reliability, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn. Paid training and certifications are provided, including Florida Phosphate Producers (FPP) certification, fall protection, and shuttle wagon operation.A Day in the Life
Your day begins with a safety briefing, because at Road & Rail Services, safety always comes first. As a Material Handler, you'll be outdoors in all weather-heat, rain, and cold-performing the physical work that keeps rail operations running. You'll climb, lift, and work at heights while carefully loading fertilizer into railcars. The job requires focus, teamwork, and attention to detail, since the quality of your work directly impacts the rail supply chain. This isn't repetitive warehouse work-it's industrial fieldwork where every shift brings variety and challenges. At the end of the day, you'll take pride knowing your effort keeps America's freight moving.Work Schedule
This is a full-time, permanent role with a rotating 2-Step Swing Shift:
- Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week Two: Wednesday and Thursday
- Rotates from day shift to night shift every 4 weeks
- Starting pay of $20/hour, with weekly paychecks
