If you have innovative ideas and a commitment to excellence, we are more than happy to consider you for other roles in Parker that may be a good fit.ORDER MANAGEMENT COORDINATORPOSITION SUMMARYThe Order Management Coordinator is responsible for creating warehouse documents that initiate the stock pulling and packaging processes to meet customer requirements. This position is also responsible for handling shipping discrepancies and creating return material authorizations. This position will work closely with MABS Akron Customer Support Planning and Contract Administration to meet customer requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES· Create warehouse documents used by warehouse associates to pull products from inventory to initiate the packaging and shipping process to support on time customer deliveries. This activity will require communication with other functions throughout Parker, primarily Customer Support Planning and Contract Administration functions.· Requires interaction with customers and Parker contract administrators’ team to resolve shipping discrepancies and to create return material authorizations. Must adhere to Parker policies concerning these activities. Must also keep a log of return material authorizations completed and outstanding.· Act as a primary point of contact for Parker Customer Support Planning and Contract Administration functions for accelerating the priority status of existing delivery requirements that have inventory available for shipment but have not been packaged. The Order Fulfillment Coordinator will note the change in priority on delivery documents and alert the Shipping Coordinators and Warehouse Manager of the expedited service requirement.· Perform any other tasks properly assigned by the Parker Warehouse Manager.Job Duty%· Performs basic data entry for order creation and report out for shipping discrepancies.· Supports the resolution of customer issues arising as a result of customer order discrepancies such as shortages, overages and wrong part shipped.· Generates and maintains departmental reports and tracking against Key Performance Indicators for On Time Delivery and Shipping Discrepancies.· Direct communication with customers, contract administrators and planning teams for order changes, order escalations, and customer returns.35%10%25%15%15%100%QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Associate degree in business administration or a related field required.Years Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an industrial or distribution organization is required. The individual must have effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong analytical/problem solving skills. Good computer skills, including utilization of Microsoft Excel and Word are also required. Experience with an ERP business system, preferably SAP, is required.· Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task· Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.· Ability and willingness to learn new concepts, skills and techniques.· Ability to learn how to clearly communicate using different mediums.· Self-motivated· Able to establish effective relationships.· A “can do” approach to work and the satisfaction of customers’ requirements.· Awareness of limitations and the ability to escalate when necessary.Office/Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66% +day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.Manufacturing/Non-Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spent 66% + hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop or climb.
