Job Description:SummaryProvides a variety of non-routine and semiskilled duties in maintaining buildings and equipment at the communityResponsibilities1. Completes work orders as assigned, through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), to repair or install equipment and machinery or assist residents and/or customers with general maintenance needs2.Conducts equipment maintenance, testing, lubricating, and cleaning machinery and reporting any equipment malfunctions, repairs or replaces defective items and maintains operational logs3. Assists in maintaining the appearance of the main buildings, outside buildings and grounds, including snow removal and salting4. Utilizes hand and power tools, following all necessary safety procedures5. May be responsible for conducting inspections and drills (“Life Safety”) including but not limited to sprinkler inspections, fire drills, electrical inspections, bed inspections etc.6. Follows infection control procedures, including proper hand washing, trash/waste storage and disposal and wearing protective clothing and equipment when handling waste and chemical agents.7. Follows all safety procedures and protocol as dictated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations and reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately.8.
