- Learns the technical operations of assigned BCU applications or electronic systems and then provides quality first responder support to specific end user and/or corporate wide issues with those systems. Organizes, updates and prioritizes help desk ticket requests.
- Troubleshoots problems with electronic systems, including hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems. Makes repairs and corrections where required.
- Installs, assembles and configures computers, thin clients, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware. Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages.
- Conducts company-wide inventory of IT equipment assets and updates and updates the information into the company's tracking software.
- Performs inspection/cleaning of equipment such as PCs, printers, check scanners, receipt printers, signature pads, etc.
- Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data. Implements solutions or notifies appropriate personnel as needed.
- Assists with various projects as needed and job shadows in various areas of the department as time and interest allow.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
