This is a great opportunity to continue to develop your project and client management expertise under the guidance of senior level management.Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct multi-faceted environmental projects that include planning, assessment, remediation, and monitoring of impaired properties
  • Work closely with PE and LSP team to develop and execute effective regulatory strategies for our clients
  • Provide oversight to field staff conducting site investigation and remediation projects
  • Ensure that project deliverables, milestones, and budgets are met
  • Responsible for the safety of our project teams on client sites
  • Prepare, review, and submit final reports in accordance with Massachusetts Contingency Plan, applicable guidance and policies, and internal quality control standards
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff
  • Participate in business development activities to scope potential client engagements and prepare proposals
Qualifications
  • BS in Geology, Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field (Masters a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental assessment and remediation projects, contaminated site characterization investigations (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air), and implementation of remediation programs
  • Experience with strategic soils management and remediation as part of site redevelopment and building construction preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully execute and prioritize multiple complex tasks simultaneously under various conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects on-time and within budget
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to walk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrain
