This is a great opportunity to continue to develop your project and client management expertise under the guidance of senior level management.Core Responsibilities
Conduct multi-faceted environmental projects that include planning, assessment, remediation, and monitoring of impaired properties
Work closely with PE and LSP team to develop and execute effective regulatory strategies for our clients
Provide oversight to field staff conducting site investigation and remediation projects
Ensure that project deliverables, milestones, and budgets are met
Responsible for the safety of our project teams on client sites
Prepare, review, and submit final reports in accordance with Massachusetts Contingency Plan, applicable guidance and policies, and internal quality control standards
Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff
Participate in business development activities to scope potential client engagements and prepare proposals
Qualifications
BS in Geology, Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field (Masters a plus)
5+ years of experience in environmental assessment and remediation projects, contaminated site characterization investigations (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air), and implementation of remediation programs
Experience with strategic soils management and remediation as part of site redevelopment and building construction preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to successfully execute and prioritize multiple complex tasks simultaneously under various conditions
Demonstrated ability to manage projects on-time and within budget
Proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to walk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrain
