
EDI Specialist

- Primary point of contact for Customers, EDI partners, ERP Consultants, Trading Partners, and business communications to provide optimal customer service to both external and internal stakeholders
- Initiate and lead implementation of new EDI Customers and work closely with EDI IT Analyst for Testing purposes
- Gather business unit/site-specific partner onboarding requirements and analyze customer requirements for all processes
- Assist in electronic data transfer within required timeframe
- Administer all receiving and sending of all EDI documents
- Daily management of all EDI errors and invoice discrepancies for all customers, perform troubleshoot on all processes and repair scripts to resolve content issues and map problems
- Support strategic accounts through day-to-day interaction and reporting
- Serves as an escalation resource for EDI issues for staff members
- Participate in training of new hires on the EDI platform and on-the-floor coaching
- Effective Team Player with the ability to work independently
- Strong relationship skills: fits well with all employee levels, is comfortable with a rigorous give and take, communicative and collaborative style
- Proficient user in MS Office programs (NetSuite a plus)
- Customer focused; dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers
- Has a keen interest in continuous personal development; i.e. learning the business, product application, intercommunication skills, etc.
- Participates in inter-departmental initiatives and builds relationships with key stakeholders to provide outstanding service
- Experience functioning in a role requiring a consultative approach (internal or external)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational influencing skills
