ResponsibilitiesProvides general Medical Assistant assistance to Internal Medicine physician in an outpatient setting within the hospital.The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
- Room patients and obtaining vitals
- Entering patient information into electronic medical record (EMR)
- Setting up and assisting with office procedures
- Chaperone providers during patient examination
- Taking pre-op and post-op photos of patients
- Maintaining and stocking exam rooms
- Ordering clinical supplies
- Completing FMLA and Disability forms
- Cleaning and resetting exam rooms
- Travel to satellite locations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year experience is preferred as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic
- Certification Requirements:
- CPR-preferred
