RecruiterChris PereiraJob DescriptionThe TacAir Tech-Ops team is looking for a Sr. Process Engineer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at their Nashua New Hampshire facility in the Box Build factory supporting a new product that is transitioning into production. This position brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of initial EPAWSS LRIP, 56C LRIP and sustain QATAR production goals achieving its operational excellence. The role desires seasoned mechanical engineering assembly support experience within the next higher-level box/chassis arena. In this role, the process engineer will be responsible for daily production engineering support, preliminary material review support, and all-encompassing process improvement projects related to these activities as the primary function. The role also encompasses working closely with cross functional organizational teams on a daily basis. The expectation is to achieve operational excellence through hands-on problem-solving, using data analysis tools such Six Sigma, SPC, Green belt, and lean manufacturing principles. The goal is to improve assembly build processes to mitigate cost of poor quality, improve quality yields, cycle and on time delivery schedules while driving towards the ultimate goal of zero defects.
The team is excited for a new member to join us on this journey!This is a first shift position working a 4/10 schedule Mon- Thursday but can be open to working a 9/80 schedule.

  • Relevant process engineering or manufacturing engineering industry experience, preferably in electro-mechanical hardware manufacturing processes
  • Experience in cable assemblies, backplane assemblies,
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work closely with internal customers including operation associates on the manufacturing floor
  • Degree in engineering disciplines or in a related field preferred
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Relevant process engineering or manufacturing engineering industry experience, preferably in electro-mechanical hardware manufacturing processes
  • PPV/FAI industry experience.
  • Green Belt and Lean manufacturing training and demonstrated ability to apply these principles preferred.
  • Prior experience working within a DoD environment.
