The Payload Systems Team at HawkEye 360 is seeking a Senior Embedded Test & Validation Engineer to focus on testing and validating next-generation spacecraft payloads during their assembly, integration, and final acceptance. This engineer will help define, maintain, and execute the procedures and test code that ensure new clusters meet mission-critical reliability requirements.As the Senior Embedded Test & Validation Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Developing and maintaining test procedures for spacecraft assembly and hardware integration
  • Implementing and updating software to support new hardware features and configurations
  • Executing tests in a lab environment and analyzing results for conformance and reliability
  • Collaborating with the hardware and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Supporting mission readiness and pre-launch validation campaigns
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems validation, integration, or test engineering
  • Experience with object-oriented Python · Strong experience writing and adapting test frameworks for embedded platforms
  • Familiarity with spacecraft or high-reliability systems is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 annuallyHawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits.
