- Create demand through prospecting, identifying new customers, and growing existing key accounts.
- Develop pre-sales strategies, qualify account potential, and meet established sales objectives.
- Conduct sales trips to update clients, solicit business, and establish new relationships.
- Deliver professional sales presentations and skillfully negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
- Assist in formulating annual sales and marketing plans, including short and long-term objectives.
- Increase sales in ancillary areas such as golf and spa.
- Participate in management meetings, client meetings, and promotional events as needed.
- Collaborate with Catering/Conference Services for planning and execution of functions.
- Maintain proficiency in contractual negotiations, rate quotation, and hospitality sales techniques.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work with diverse clientele.
- A four-year college degree in business or hotel administration is preferred.
- This sales professional must have a minimum of 2-3 years of either hotel group, leisure, or catering sales experience and a proven track record in the achievement of their financial and administrative goals.
- Previous group sales experience is preferred.
- Experience with Delphi/Salesforce system preferred.
