- Support the execution of medical device product development initiatives, ensuring performance to schedule, scope, budget, and quality metrics.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that capture dependencies, milestones, and resource needs across functional areas.
- Support effective governance structures, including team meetings, stage gate reviews, and executive updates that enable timely decision-making.
- Identify and address execution risks, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with technical and engineering leadership.
- Track meaningful project execution metrics that drive accountability and enable data-driven decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance execution efficiency and quality.
- Provide project management support to project contributors.
- Ensure adherence to medical device regulations and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering product development and lifecycle management or related technical field.
- Experience successfully leading technical initiatives in collaborative environments.
- Ability, under supervision, to manage the project lifecycle from initiation to close on small to medium sized technical initiatives.
- Creates and executes project plans that integrate diverse technical and functional requirements
- Familiar with product device development and lifecycle processes
- Proactively identifies execution risks and facilitates mitigation plans that preserve development objectives.
- Familiarity the use of project management principles, tools, and methodologies
- Collaborates effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Functional knowledge with project management scheduling and lifecycle tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) desired
