
Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level

- Perform job responsibilities under direction of Project Manager or a Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for review and approval
- Evaluate vendor bids and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
- Perform calculations for detailed segments of a project such as pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.
- Work with Project Engineers and Designers to ensure that engineering standards are applied correctly
- Review equipment and piping drawings, layouts, and material specifications to ensure they match ISC and Client standards and design requirements
- Assist with mechanical drawing production when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Entry-Level Position
- Co-Op or Internship experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferred but not required
- Licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) or the ability to become licensed
- Knowledge and ability to apply industry specifications and codes for equipment and pipe design
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to problem solve and thrive when priorities and deadlines change
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- AutoCAD or 3D Design Software experience preferred
- TWIC Card or the ability to acquire one
- Ability to perform job walks, field sketches, assist surveying team, and trace lines in client
