Summary:
This position will work with a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on product development and improvement with a focus on firmware development and circuit board design using a host of tools in our customer focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and review electrical drawings including wiring diagrams, printed circuit board layout, and electrical schematics to support active projects and existing products.
- Create electrical solutions for the Agricultural Industry primarily in the 12-24VDC space.
- Assist in prototype builds, testing, and production builds of new and existing products.
- Assist in the creation of technical documents to support products.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot electrical issues to reach root cause and present solutions.
- Communicate in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Be a positive team member with a good honest work ethic.
- Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of the products and the industries KZValve serves.
- Electrical Engineering Degree from a 4-year ABET Accredited college or university
- Over 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to design and analyze analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Ability to design, model, and optimize control systems, including feedback and open-loop control systems.
- Good electrical aptitude; Display ability in technical knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and active learning.
- Familiar with Ag Industry equipment.
- Experience with OEM driven development.
- Experience developing in C using IAR Workbench.
- Experience with PCBA design software, Altium or Fusion 360.
- Experience in micro-processor integration into electronic components.
- Experience with development using CAN bus protocols
- Knowledge of brushed DC motor systems.
- Experience sourcing components from the global distribution channel.
- Ability to manage projects including timeline, costs, and other deliverables.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively communicate throughout the organization.

- Full-Time, exempt position.
- Travel: Less than 5%
