
Epic Clinical Informaticist

- Collaborates with clinical leaders and front-line staff to assess workflow needs and translate them into Epic system design and configuration.
- Participates in building, configuring, and testing Epic modules that support clinical documentation, order entry, decision support, and other care delivery functions.
- Assists in the development of training materials and provide hands-on education for clinical users.
- Supports end-users during go-live and post-implementation optimization, ensuring adoption of best practice workflows.
- Monitors system usage and data quality, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions that enhance patient care and provider efficiency.
- Ensures system changes are documented clearly and that workflows comply with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or a related clinical discipline required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required; experience in healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical informatics preferred.
- License: Active Clinical License (RN, MT/MLT, RT, etc.) required.
- Certification: Epic training and certification will be provided at no cost in exchange for a 2 year work commitment.
- Hospitals in Bowling Green, Albany, Caverna (Horse Cave), Franklin, Russellville and Scottsville, as well as Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital, a long-term acute care hospital.
- A combined 529 acute care beds and 110 extended care beds.
