As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be required to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Thur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or violations of site policies.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and site-specific protocols related to armed security-related duties.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
