- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot part defects and machine issues with operators, team leaders and floor supervisors
- Train Tylok employees on part defects and potential causes of the defects
- Support Tylok Inspection department by identifying possible areas for improvement
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
- Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving activities
- Communicate results and conclusions to production management
- Encouraged to lead projects and training opportunities
- HS diploma or GED; certificate in a related technical skill
- Minimum 3 years of closely related experience in machine operations and/or quality inspection
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and information.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Strong communication skills and can work effectively with staff from all departments, disciplines, and levels
- Understanding of Advanced Mathematical concepts.
- Experience drafting reports and collecting data.
- Effective competence with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Effective with ERP applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High level of visual awareness.

- Position is viewed to be at the same level as a team leader.
- Inspection and gaging
- Nonconformance process, corrective actions and QMS improvement
- Specific training or experience on the current ERP system
- HSE training, including PPE, first aid, and fire extinguisher use
- Performs a wide range of moderate to strenuous physical activities, with frequent transitions between duties
- This position can require frequent:
- Standing, walking, bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, reaching
- Lift/carry/lower of 40 lbs.+ with limited/no assistance
- Walk up/down steps
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
