The Position:We are looking for a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement progressive rehabilitation programs for patients in their homes. This position is also responsible for:
  • Administering occupational therapy treatment.
  • Provides patient, family, and caregiver education and training as appropriate.
  • Performs patient care duties and treatments based on specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program from AOTA or AOTE or Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a bachelor's or master's degree with certification in occupational therapy.
  • Current medical/health screening including 2 Step TB clearance.
  • Valid State of Hawaii license to practice as a COTA or license eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification through the American Heart Association
