- Develop and implement a global manufacturing strategy that supports and drives Allegion’s long-range plan and annual deliverables
- Lead and drive Allegion’s technical vision and manufacturing strategy across the globe
- Lead and facilitate a global manufacturing strategy and footprint development for Allegion
- Lead the development and implementation of core / non-core process, assessments, and playbooks and ensure effective facility / product / process transitions & processes are in place
- Provide thought leadership and drive strategic execution in automation plan development and education; identifying new technologies and automation applications for the business
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop an Industry 4.0 roadmap with execution plans
- Lead development and effective execution of capital investment within operations
- Lead, develop and mentor a global team across multiple disciplines; build and develop capabilities and strategic skill sets which drive competitive advantage and complement operations
- Lead global implementation of Total Productive Maintenance across machinery, tools and facilities
- Ensure new products are released with adequate levels of manufacturability
- Collaborate with Procurement to implement make vs. buy process, assessments, and playbooks
- Support global leverage of core manufacturing process groups
- Support mergers and acquisitions by properly evaluating target risks within operations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- 15+ years of combined relevant automation, manufacturing and integrated supply chain experience such as industrial, mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical engineering or electronics
- 8+ year’s relevant AME experience preferred
- Experience leading a global team
- Understanding of global materials management and supply chain / logistics Management
- Experience successfully leading and managing global projects
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills (ability to train others at multiple levels of the organization)
- Experience and demonstrated results improving manufacturing footprint utilization / rationalization
- Demonstrated drive for results working in a global multi-sector matrix organization
- Demonstrated influencing, relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated implementations new technologies and automation efforts
