- Demonstrate taste and understanding of graphics and recruiting trends. Stay current with trends in recruiting, plan and execute graphics for social media and recruiting visits
- Execute consistent designs aligned with University of Miami ideals
- Proactively and effectively communicate with the coaching and media communications staffs; share work early and often and seek out constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop design concepts
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Focusing on Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Ability to apply and perform graphic design, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale visual presentation development and layout.
- Ability to take creative direction and work independently with an extreme attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
- Working knowledge of the digital landscape in media, design and technology
- Understanding of contemporary design, internet, and youth culture trends
- A knowledge and love of sports and sports culture a plus
