The Manufacturing Engineer will design, program, and maintain automated machinery, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and optimize production processes using robotics, pneumatics, servos, and PLC systems in a manufacturing setting.Responsibilities:
Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems and processes
Support equipment procurement, installation, and other related tasks as needed
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to communicate recommendations and implement design updates
Design tooling and fixtures, evaluate processes for efficiency improvements, and troubleshoot production issues
Undertake special projects or assignments as requested
Identify and resolve process challenges, driving continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze workflows to find opportunities for enhanced productivity and quality
Implement cost reduction strategies and quality assurance measures
Ensure manufacturing systems meet performance and capacity standards
Assist in researching and developing new processes, equipment, and product introductions
Maintain compliance with safety regulations for all manufacturing activities
Engage in cross-functional collaboration to support operational goals

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and supporting automated systems
Practical experience working in production or assembly environments for 2+ years
Strong computer proficiency, including programming and software development skills essential for automation tasks
Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with automation equipment
Effective communicator capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse teams and documenting processes clearly
Creative problem solver with the ability to develop practical solutions quickly
Adaptable and eager to stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and/or Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of project management, risk assessment, and experimental design is a plus
