- Plans, organizes, and manages electrical construction projects. Ensures that projects are completed safely, profitably, timely, of a high quality and according to customer expectations.

- Works with the Purchasing Department and vendors proactively to ensure effective material procurement and coordination.
- Attends all required internal and external project meetings (ex: ORM's, staff meeting, jobsite coordination meetings, internal financial meeting, etc.)
- Participates in field staff performance review process; conducts effective employee performance reviews in a timely manner with the Vice President of Operations and other key senior leadership personnel, coaches employees on future growth opportunities, maintains high integrity relations, and establishes field merit wage increases.
- Manages all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, contract drawings, project communication, etc.
- Responsible for negotiating subcontracts, generating the scopes of work per the negotiations, and initiating the internal process to generate the subcontract.
- Manages sub-tiered subcontractors to ensure their scope is performed accurately, safely, at a high quality, and maintains our performance standards on every job. Including but not limited to managing their production, submittals, RFI's, closeout documentation, etc.
- Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to area of responsibility.
- Prepares change order requests, project reports, and documentation.
- Reviews daily reports generated by foremen
- Approves time entered by foremen
- Consistently walks jobsites with foremen and crew to verify progress, quality, safety are being met.
- Assists in preconstruction as required by project assignment
- Establish the project budget and manpower forecast with the foreman/superintendent
- Complete monthly financial projections on time and review with Vice President of Operations
- Reviews assigned project proposal or plan to determine time frame, budget, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project.
- Directs project personnel and outlines work plan and assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Keeps Vice President Operations informed of project status and any needed changes in schedule, resources, and budget.
- Oversees project budget and approves all expenditures and change orders for projects.
- Serves as primary liaison between company and general contractors and suppliers and provides technical advice for improved processes and resolution of problems.
- Communicates and consults with preconstruction and estimating team regarding successful transition of projects from bid process to construction stage.
- Supervises and provides performance feedback field superintendents and foremen to Vice President of Operations.
- Oversees the final approval and letter of occupancy process with builder/general contractor.
- Bachelor's Degree (in one of the following fields: Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields) Or 5 years' experience in the electrical field and 1 year of electrical estimating experience
- Travel: 20% - 50%, as needed
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, ProCore, BlueBeam, and other computer programs and platforms
- Ability to work independently or in teams, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions
- Effectively demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Electrical field experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum or Vista is preferred but not required
