- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably with a focus on data analysis and business intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics or similar.
- Good understanding of data governance principles, data management, and data quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data analysis into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Experience in time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Minimum of five years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform in-depth analysis of complex data sets, including financial, operational, and customer data. Use statistical methods and data visualization techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand their business objectives and requirements. Translate business needs into data analysis requirements and develop analytical models to address specific business questions or problems.
- Reporting and Presentations: Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present complex data and analysis results in a visually compelling and easy-to-understand manner.
- Insights and Recommendations: Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experience. Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to support business strategies and objectives.
- Data Visualization: Utilize data visualization tools to create interactive and intuitive visual representations of data, enabling stakeholders to explore and understand complex information more effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and data engineers, to ensure smooth data integration, implementation of analytical solutions, and alignment with business goals.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization. Continuously enhance skills and knowledge through self-learning, training, and professional development opportunities.
