- Lead the integration of Moodle Workplace with existing systems and platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and connectivity in the eLearning environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define the integration strategy, identifying necessary modifications or enhancements to achieve project goals.
- Configure and customize Moodle Workplace to facilitate the smooth migration of eLearning content, ensuring compatibility with existing systems, applications, and databases.
- Develop and implement data migration plans, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure accurate and efficient transfer of eLearning content between platforms.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure the effective integration of learning materials, courses, and assessments into the Moodle Workplace platform.
- Design and implement user authentication and access control mechanisms to ensure secure and restricted access to eLearning content based on user roles and permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the integration of Moodle Workplace with existing systems, identifying, and implementing solutions to improve system performance, stability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure that the Moodle Workplace platform is optimally performing, reliable, and scalable to support a user base of up to 100,000 users.
- Provide training and technical support to users, administrators, and instructors to maximize their understanding and utilization of the Moodle Workplace platform.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in eLearning technologies, Moodle Workplace updates, and instructional design methodologies, recommending improvements and enhancements to the platform.
- Document system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting techniques to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and enable effective knowledge transfer.
- Adhere to federal regulations, security guidelines, and best practices in the management and protection of sensitive and classified eLearning content.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve project milestones and deliverables within established timelines and budgets.
- Participate in system testing, quality assurance, and user-acceptance testing processes to ensure the successful implementation and stability of the Moodle Workplace platform.
- Collaborate with the Moodle Workplace community, attending conferences and forums, and actively engaging in discussions to share knowledge and learn from others.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Min 5 years experience in integrating and configuring Moodle Workplace in large-scale environments, preferably in a federal or enterprise setting.
- Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, and instructional design principles.
- Experience in migrating eLearning content from legacy systems to Moodle Workplace, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols, access control mechanisms, and security best practices in the eLearning domain.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in customizing Moodle Workplace themes, templates, and plugins.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, and server infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, MySQL, and Apache servers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Moodle Workplace integrations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in the migration and integration processes.
- Experience working in federal or government contracts, with knowledge of security clearance processes and compliance regulations (preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as Moodle Certified Integration Specialist or Moodle Certified Administrator are highly desirable.

- DoD Top Secret + willingness to obtain DHS/CISA suitability - 3rd choice (it can take 10-60 days to obtain suitability – work can only begin once suitability is fully adjudicated).
