- Challenge existing processes in place and identify improvement opportunities using data
- Manage a portfolio of capital and process improvement projects to ensure desired results are met within the budgeted time and cost
- Support negotiation of hauler rates that drive lower total cost of ownership including management of contracts, supplier development, and supplier evaluations
- Define problems, identify process gaps, gather supporting data, design and implement solutions, measure and sustain results
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain a long-term commitment by evaluating financial and operational impact related to process improvement opportunities
- Increase operational efficiency while minimizing cost and maximizing resource utilization through lean and continuous improvement methodologies
- Analyze and comprehend large amounts of data from various sources to help facilitate discussions with decision-making bodies
- Develop, maintain, and improve supply chain performance data reports and visualization using tools like PowerBI, SQL, and advanced Excel
- Conceptually understand advanced analytic techniques such as optimization, simulation, data mining, and statistics to validate and refine mathematical models and algorithms
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Lead root cause analyses to define problems, scope, deliverables, and methodologies
- Identify and assist in the implementation of technology, tools, and processes to improve the reliability of information and increase operational efficiency
- Ability to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)

- Ability to travel (mostly regional within the Darigold PNW footprint)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, and Power BI
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Transportation, Operations Management, or a closely related field
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in a closely related area
- Project management experience is a plus

- Compensation range: $91,161-$125,345 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge, and skills)
