Actively participate in the department’s standard training program to become increasingly skilled in your area of focus.
Train and lead Maintenance team when helping perform technology support duties.

Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and co-workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner.
Assist the Renovations team in reviewing and approving the IT Matrix as part of community capital projects.
Assist with life cycle replacement and disposal of technology-based hardware, per PRS policies and procedures.
Demonstrate a constant awareness of electrical safety and safety hazards.
Plan scheduled maintenance of major phone switches and equipment. Coordinate all adds, moves, and changes for team members and residents.
Provide computer and peripheral equipment support to residents.
Support the PRS IT department's communication objectives related to data and fiber support and design.
Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act in a calm manner in the event of an emergency.
Support the maintenance team with daily priorities and general maintenance needs as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Experience in low voltage systems including cable television, telephone, and internet connection systems, and audio visual applications.
Mitel certification or pursuit of the certification once beginning employment.
CompTIA A+ certification preferred or pursuit of the certification once beginning employment.
Strong organizational skills, good phone, and public relations skills, and knowledge of facility management functions, processes, and tools.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and knowledge of internal computer components, networking equipment identification, and computing environment concepts.
