Try, learn, improve, repeat.ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support to our employees and vendors, ensuring smooth operations of our IT environment. As an integral part of our team, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the improvement of our IT systems.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Provide IT generalist support to employees and vendors while building greater technical understanding and awareness.
  • Meet with employees or vendors to diagnose and resolve software, networking, and hardware issues, both onsite and remotely.
  • Install, configure, and maintain employee computer systems and applications.
  • Document and resolve incoming service requests and alerts, including application and server outages.
  • Increase responsiveness and implement permanent resolutions by identifying trends in service histories.
  • Answer support emails and messages, providing timely assistance and guidance.
  • Provide occasional onsite support to our warehouse located in Otsego, MN.
  • Create and maintain documentation in the knowledge base
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of system, installation, and configuration standards and procedures.
  • Share newly acquired information with peers to improve support team capabilities.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS*:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Beginner and/or intermediate technical skills across a wide range of products within our product stack.
  • Proficiency in server and workstation hardware, operating systems, and software, including Apple and Microsoft products.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong desire to learn and solve business problems independently.
  • Position is based out of Minneapolis, MN headquarters with a flexible working environment/schedule (no full-time remote work available)
