- This unaccompanied role is a rotational deployment to CENTCOM OCONUS locations for extended terms with additional compensation.
- When not on deployment this role will be Onsite at Fort Sill, OK with availability for assignments to various CONUS/OCONUS sites.

- Provide subject matter support.
- Evaluate, assess, and provide training to force protection personnel on all configurations of the system.
- Inspect, test, and align the designated systems appropriate specifications.
- Utilize schematics, drawings, specifications, and General Purpose Electrical / Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) to troubleshoot and repair faults in the systems / equipment.
- Provide up to date training in the operation, maintenance, alignment, and repair of the system.
- Provide support in obtaining OEM data (drawings, test data, etc.) through proper channels.
- Develop and support the installation, repair, maintenance, and operation of all aspects of the equipment, and communications and electro-optical equipment
- Evaluate and document field operational capability and report results to customer and program office.
- Perform routine system maintenance and computer system administrative functions, as well as analysis of system operations.
- Perform other technical duties as assigned.
- Extensive travel will be required; up to 100% to include other international destinations.
- Must be willing and able to deploy to remote international locations with little notification.
- Must be willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions and / or hostile work environment.
- Some locations will be in the middle east desert with temperatures above 120 degrees F.
- Must be willing and able to move and / or transport weights such as test equipment, ladders, instruments, and cable reels weighing up to 60 pounds using proper lifting techniques or material moving equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work 12-16 hours a day and be on call 24/7.
- Must be willing and able to traverse platforms.
- Must be willing and able to work in a bivouac environment.
- Must be willing and able to travel over rough, uneven terrain.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
- Advanced Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) military training.
- Experience in combat systems support.
- Experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of the weapon system.
- Experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and peripheral devices.
- Experience with systems integration, software, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Comprehension of military protocol and using operating systems and database administration systems.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance or INTERIM Clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Prior field experience and / or military service with land-based weapon systems.
- Ability to plan, schedule and complete all activities required to meet established goals.
