- Review and verify insured risks align with the providers’ risk appetite, all compliance standards are met and address any quality concerns with insurance specialists.
- Review, analyze and respond to insurance carrier audits and regulatory requests.
- Handle retention of active policies, including reviewing accuracy of renewals, remarketing risks, and communicating with insurance specialists as necessary.
- Review and respond to carriers for adverse action and underwriting requests for both new business and renewals.
- Investigate claim disputes, gathering and providing appropriate documentation to assist management in rendering a decision.
- Handle and respond to all electronic communications received by Insurance Services for personal lines products, including billing, servicing, and quote requests.
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Business Management, Finance, Risk Management, or Mathematics.
- In-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance industry and the responsibilities to the policyholders.
- Experience working within an Agency Management System.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers, specialists and members.
- Minimum of two years experience in property and casualty insurance sale and service.
- Must have active North Carolina Personal Lines or Property and Casualty licenses or obtain those licenses within one month of hire.
- Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation preferred.
