The four-mile skywalk system connects meeting facilities, shopping, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment.The PositionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth in our security services within a designated geographical area or business segment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify sales opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and build strong relationships with clients.Essential Job Function
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • - Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the growth and success of the Des Moines branch.
  • - Oversee the implementation of security programs and protocols, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • - Manage day-to-day operations, optimizing efficiency and performance.
  • - Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Client Relations:
  • - Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique security needs.
  • - Collaborate with clients to tailor security solutions, ensuring a proactive and responsive approach.
  • Team Development:
  • - Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.

  • Drive recruitment efforts to attract top talent to strengthen the team.
  • Financial Management:

Qualification Requirements
  • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and sales metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable for achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for the security industry and a commitment to making the world a safer place.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Security, military, or law enforcement background is preferred.
