As an Electrical Design Engineer at Luxus Build, you’ll take a hands-on role in designing electrical systems that power our projects from concept through construction. You’ll collaborate closely with architects and other engineers to create integrated, efficient, and code-compliant electrical solutions across a variety of building types.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for buildingsCreate and maintain detailed Revit models and construction documentsCoordinate electrical systems with architectural and mechanical designPerform electrical calculations, layout design, and equipment selectionPrepare panel schedules, riser diagrams, and circuiting plansReview design codes and ensure project compliance with the NEC and other standardsSupport construction administration tasks including RFIs and submittal reviewsParticipate in design reviews and contribute to technical development initiativesWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline2 to 10 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildingsStrong proficiency in Revit and AutoCADWorking knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Excellent communication, organization, and team coordination skillsEIT certification or PE license is a plus, but not requiredA proactive and detail-oriented approach to design challengesWhy Luxus Build?Join a growing team with a strong reputation in Florida’s AEC industryOpportunity to work on high-profile, design-driven projectsFlexible work culture that values innovation and collaborationCompetitive salary, benefits, and professional development opportunitiesLocated in beautiful Tampa, Florida — no state income tax and year-round sunshineReady to Build What’s Next?
