Are you a strong, motivated Surgical Dental Assistant with Dental Assisting and or Periodontic dental experience looking to elevate your career in a supportive and unique environment? At Dr. Ronald Watkins’ office we’re seeking a dedicated Surgical Assistant to become part of our exceptional surgical team!What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong experience as a surgical and dental assistant preferred.
  • Candidates should have one-year minimum prior experience in oral surgery/periodontics.
  • IV/PRF experience is preferred.
  • Experience with radiographic procedures, including FMX (full mouth series), CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) and Digital Impressions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit to fit our team dynamic.
Your Role: As a dental surgical assistant, you will be essential in providing top-notch care to our patients.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting Dr. Watkins during surgeries such as Extractions with socket bone grafts, Sinus augmentations, Bony ridge augmentations, Gingival grafts, Crown lengthening, and All on four procedures as well as Exams, Post operative appointments, and Patient education.
  • Proficient in sterile technique, and the steps to maintain asepsis for all surgical procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic patient records.
