This includes participation in the design and evaluation of product development processes for both new and existing components, or a system of components, to provide improvements in cost, enhance performance, create and conduct product testing procedures, or improve manufacturing using fundamental principles of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines.⢠Acquire knowledge of the engineering departmentâs operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.⢠Observe work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.⢠Use engineering skills to conduct analysis and modeling, engage in product design, develop, and execute testing procedures, and participate in product development engineering work.⢠Maintain regular communication with leader to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.⢠Attend related training (if provided) and apply training in work assignments.⢠Perform other related responsibilities.⢠Enrolled in a Bachelorâs or advanced degree program in a related engineering field such as: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.⢠Ability to work effectively in a variety of engineering and manufacturing assignments.⢠Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.⢠Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD systems such as AutoCad, ProE, etc.Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
