Job Description:Wyndemere's 5-star long-term care skilled nursing facility, Wynscape Health and Rehabilitation, is seeking a Director of Nursing for a small, 56 bed life-plan senior community. This role is responsible for the overall supervision, provision, and quality of nursing care in the Health Center. In addition to the selection, training, discipline and supervision for all nursing related Health Center personnel.Salary $130,000 to $155,000 based on experience + Annual Bonus Opportunity + $5,000 sign-on bonusPost-acute/skilled nursing home experience and RN is required to be considered for this role.What we offer:

Responsible for the development, organization and operation of nursing services and supportive services for the Health Center and residential apartments.
Communicates and meets with outside consultants as necessary to assess and make recommendations for resident care needs
Responsible for the coordination and direction of the total planning for nursing services including recommendation through a staffing plan of the number and levels of licensed and certified nurses' aides to be employed
Participates in the coordination of resident care services through departmental staff meetings. Attends, prepares and analyzes necessary information for the Quarterly Assurance Meetings and annual policy review
Remains up to date with all local and federal infection control prevention standards
Infection control and wound care
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a post-acute/skilled nursing home community
In depth knowledge of wound management, infection control and SNF regulations
Prefer Infection Preventionist Certification
Prefer strong knowledge of MDS process
Established track record of high-quality clinical outcomes/management
Values team, team building and understands the importance of leadership and establishing relationships with her team
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with a current license in the state of Illinois.
