
Maintenance Supervisor

- Ensure that all Facility systems meet safety and operational standards through inhouse and vendor supported PM programs
- Oversee daily activities of the maintenance personnel to ensure top operating condition of equipment and systems
- Ensure total compliance with established safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
- Assist and support the EHS manager as needed to support plant safety programs
- Support the maintenance manager in the daily maintenance department operation
- Partner with EHS manager (as needed) to support plant safety programs/initiatives
- Support line efficiency by ensuring team is available and can assist with improvements through preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment upgrades and focused improvement efforts
- Assist Project managers and the management team in line upgrades and new machine installs
- Communicate daily with the maintenance team Leads and maintenance personnel to review department operation
- Monitor CMMS functionality and assist in updating and optimizing the predictive and preventive maintenance program
- Promote the Maintenance Roadmap portion of the Manufacturing Excellence program
- Effectively track and communicate Maintenance KPI’s to the maintenance manager
- Communicate daily with the Maintenance Planner for daily maintenance planning and scheduling
- Assist as needed when MRO issues arise ( contacting OEM, Outside vendors, Contractors, etc.)
- Communicate daily with the Parts Coordinator and 3rd party parts department to ensure MRO needs are met
- Effectively communicate with OEM representatives and vendors for technical support and spare parts management
- Identify systematic issues regarding equipment and generate a plan
- Lead root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions to prevent recurrences, manager KPI's including run hours, MTBF, and cost to repair; reporting monthly
- 2-year technical degree OR 2-4 years of equivalent maintenance leadership in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated expertise in a leadership capacity
- High technical and mechanical aptitude
- Expert problem solving – driving issues to root cause/corrective action
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of utilizing Word, Access, and Excel
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Experience in SAP a plus
- Have or seek to obtain Green Belt or higher for continuous improvement processes
- Reliability programs/tools experience
- CMMS module experience (design, application, reporting)
