Overview of Responsibilities
- Support on and offshore teams of data management professionals.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to execute projects successfully.
- Ensure high quality delivery of new capabilities while meeting SLAs on incidents and research requests.
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities for data infrastructure.
- Generate regular reports on the impact of data management initiatives, key performance indicators, and areas for improvement.
- Establish strong relationships with internal teams to support the successful adoption and utilization of standard data tools.
- Oversees and designs ETL which loads complex data warehouse objects including dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates.
- Maintains awareness of development trends, new tools, efficiencies, shares with entire team on routine basis.
- Proactive performance analysis, solution detection, and guidance.
- Provide escalated support for team members.
- Enforce standards and compliance with legal and company regulations.
- Create PowerPoint presentations to share complex ideas simply.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies, data management, data pipeline, process improvement, and automation.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions and/or hybrid connectivity.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline and automation tools, data governance, and enterprise-level systems.
- Experience with data modeling, architecture, and design.
- Prior experience with data visualization tools, dashboard and web-based reporting tools.
- Retail environment experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written communications and presentation skills with an emphasis on being able to present technical topics in an easy-to-understand way for non-technical customers.
- Flexibility of providing support during odd hours and peak seasons.
