You’ll be responsible for building custom air filters while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities:The Assembler involves working with various materials to ensure high-quality production of air filtration products for diverse markets, including Telecommunications, Medical, Military, Renewable Energy, and Industrial sectors.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assembles custom air filtration products and components, including filters based on engineering specifications.
- Reads technical documentation and builds according to detailed instructions.
- Uses various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble and manufacture air filtration products.
- Maintains accurate logs, records, and reports regarding production, machine maintenance, and any product inconsistencies.
- Performs routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
- Inventories tools, parts, and supplies, and informs the Production supervisor when additional resources are needed.
- Periodically checks products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications; addresses any issues by resolving problems or notifying supervisors.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities to optimize assembly processes and product quality.
- Follows safety protocols and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eyes, gloves and ear protection.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others in a production environment.
- Strong ability to maintain and perform basic repairs on assembly equipment and machinery.
- Basic proficiency in reading, and writing to ensure accurate assembly and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly, especially in a technical field, is preferred but not required.
- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
- Manual dexterity for assembly tasks and handling small components with precision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for working with tools and machinery.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including eyes, gloves and ear protection, during work activities as required.
