- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based LAN/WAN infrastructure across manufacturing operations.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor and analyze network performance to ensure high availability and security.
- Support OT (Operational Technology) and IT network segmentation to maintain compliance and uptime in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with production and automation teams to integrate networking solutions into manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Perform regular network health checks, capacity planning, and upgrades.
- Respond to and resolve escalated network-related incidents with minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
- Assist in audits and compliance efforts related to ISO, NIST, or other standards.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional networking experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless).
- Manufacturing environment experience is required – must understand the unique demands of factory/industrial networks.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA (required). Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Security) strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS).
- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.
- Strong knowledge of network security practices, firewalls, and access controls.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite with cross-functional teams—no remote option.
