Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 7 years of experience with full-stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing or launching software products.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role with leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

  • Create and execute roadmaps for risk remediation and prevention for Alphabet's use of Cloud.
  • Be responsible for building solutions that provide paths for using and restricting the configuration of Cloud Resources.
  • Ensure the platforms are integrated with Cloud Governance Tools.
  • Use cloud through Developer Platforms, creating friction for off-platform Cloud usage.
