Job Description:Providence is calling for Nurse Educator in Kodiak, Alaska. Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system!Up to $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.Hours: Full Time (40 Hours Weekly) Day ShiftResponsible for both hospital and unit based education program planning, development and implementation. This includes, but is not limited to: validating required educational needs and competencies for staff; developing training programs and processes; oversight of preceptorship program; ensuring staff education records are maintained; and, keeping leadership team informed of staff education needs. Able to teach courses that are required for competency (i.e. ACLS, PALS, etc). Maintains competence at the expert level in clinical practice. Flexibility in scheduling is required for meeting the educational needs of staff on all shifts.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.   • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Certification within area of practice within 6 months of hire.
  • 3 years - Experience in a clinical setting within the area of practice.
