Summary:Following a training period, the Pharmacy Technician should be able to decipher and enter orders on the computer, use cash register, fill orders, answer phones, order and receive medications, and maintain inventory. Responsibilities:(40%)* Enters prescriptions into the computer in an accurate and timely manner from in-person, fax, electronic, and telephone sources. Fills and prepares prescriptions for final verification.(20%)* Maintain positive interactions with customers, use cash register to ring up sales, able to trouble-shoot issues with the cash register.(20%)* Orders and receives medications and supplies to maintain a sufficient inventory.
