DescriptionManufacturing systems engineering responsible for delivering test software test hardware and test frameworks that improve speed and quality of testing of satellite components. We partner with engineering and production teams to bring reliability and repeatability to our test systems improve throughput and accelerate the transition. We are looking for a TPM with experience in HW and SW testing creating test simulations developing tear down/setup systems and integrations with industry standard tools and equipment such as Test stand and Labview.Job Responsibilities:Software Development Leadership:- Drive end-to-end delivery of complex software products and services- Lead architectural decisions for distributed systems and cloud-native applications- Coordinate across multiple software development teams and components- Champion agile development practices and continuous delivery principlesTechnical Program Execution:- Manage software release cycles and deployment strategies in collaboration with the Test Engineering Responsible Design Engineers and Environmental Labs.- Coordinate integration points between different software components- Drive feature development roadmaps and sprint planning- Establish CI/CD pipelines and development workflowsEnvironmental Testing:- Experience in Environmental Testing HW and SW- Experience in working with teams responsible for designing developing and maintaining test equipment and systems used to simulate various environmental conditions for product testing.- This role combines technical expertise in hardware and software engineering with project management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful deployment and deployment of test systemsSoftware Architecture Design:- Partner with software architects on system design decisions- Ensure scalability reliability and performance requirements are met- Guide teams on microservices architecture and API design- Oversee technical debt management and system modernization effortsQuality Operations:- Establish software quality metrics and testing strategies- Drive operational excellence through monitoring and observability- Manage service level objectives SLOs and reliability targets- Coordinate incident management and post-mortem processesCross-team Technical Integration:- Manage dependencies between software components and services- Coordinate API contracts and interface specifications- Drive standardization of development practices across teams- Facilitate technical decision-making across organizational boundariesSoftware Development Lifecycle:- Implement and optimize development processes- Manage feature flags and progressive deployment strategies- Coordinate code reviews and technical documentation- Drive adoption of software development best practicesRequirements:- 7 years experience in software development or technical program management- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms AWS preferred- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems- Knowledge of modern software development practices Agile DevOps CI/CD- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration Docker Kubernetes- Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture- Experience with monitoring tools and observability platforms- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldTechnical Skills:- Proficiency in at least one programming language Java Python etc.- Understanding of database systems and data modeling- Experience with version control systems Git- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services- Familiarity with application security principles- Experience with performance optimization and scalabilityPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
