- Clean all rooms, including equipment operations rooms, entranceways, and corridors.
- Some areas such as entranceways, luncheon, and coffee mess may require more than daily cleaning to maintain an acceptable condition.
- Inspect walls and spot clean as necessary.
- Dust and clean low surfaces (less than seven feet above the floor) including equipment.
- Clean open surface areas on desks to remove smudges and stains.
- Do not disturb papers, books, or other items located on or inside desks during the cleaning process.
- Dust high surfaces (greater than seven feet above the floor) such as high cabinets, light fixtures, ceilings, and ventilation ducts.
- Empty all trash receptacles and remove trash from all areas and deposit it in an outside dumpster. The government will be responsible for the daily dumpster service.
- Replace trash receptacle liners with new ones when the trash is emptied. Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
- Keep tile floors free of spots and debris by sweeping and mopping no less than weekly.
- Floors must be stripped, sealed, and waxed no less than quarterly.
- Maintain the life and appearance of carpets. Arrange conference rooms with tables and chairs to accommodate attendees of events as requested by the COR.
- Thoroughly clean the conference room and replace the furniture into a neat and orderly arrangement.
- Wash conference room chalkboards unless marked “Do Not Erase.”
- Store janitorial supplies and materials in a safe, sanitary, and neat manner.
- Maintain the garages.
- Clean and service restrooms and showers.
- Provide supplies and restock restrooms with hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and sanitary napkins.
- Empty, clean, and disinfect the sanitary napkin disposal container daily.
- Clean toilets and urinals inside the trap (to the extent possible), under the rims, and on the exterior.
- Ensure that there are no visible spots, stains, or graffiti.
- The person will be responsible for the removal of trash, cleaning, and other custodial or janitorial activities.
- Knowledge of proper and safe use of applicable custodial equipment.
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
- Appropriate maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
- Must comply with any dress code requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar work.
- Must be able to pass an NACI investigation.
