Job Description:ResponsibilitiesSuncoast Behavioral Health Center opened its doors in 2014 and provides the highest quality of behavioral healthcare for patients in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is a 60-bed free-standing psychiatric hospital. We offer diverse inpatient and residential programs for children and adolescents.In a highly specialized field of psychiatry, our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical and emotional development to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to help our patients succeed.The Hospital is looking for a House Supervisor RN 7P-7A ($2,500 Sign-On Bonus) who will be responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child and Adolescent Units. As a key team member in the clinical area, the Nursing Supervisor promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
  • Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience preferred.
  • Must have thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
