This role reports to a Continuous Improvement Sr. Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams across our Wooster campus to achieve operational excellence targets and contribute to the overall OpEx strategy.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate plant efficiencies and drive cost savings through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams executing process improvement projectsLead and facilitate Kaizen, SMED, DMAIC and other continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with business leadership to perform process analysis and recommend improvementsConduct root cause analyses and develop actionable recommendations with teamManage and execute projects on time, on budget, and on target utilizing disciplined Project Management methodologiesSupport and coach Daily Management Systems - mentor front line leadershipBuild operator capability through training and development of SOPs, Work Instructions, and One-Point LessonsCommunicate recommendations, progress, and results to stakeholdersMaintain a Quality mindset throughout initiatives supporting Change Controls and other Quality activities as neededTrack and report on project progress, key metrics, and cost savings achievedFacilitate training/workshops to build knowledge and drive change through others with continuous improvement methodologyFoster a culture of continuous improvement by building relationships and engaging with all levels of the organization as a champion for Operational ExcellenceEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree preferrred in Business Administration, Operations Analysis/Management, and/or Industrial Engineering/Engineering; equivalent appropriate work experience will be consideredCertified Green Belt or equivalent certification in Six Sigma or Lean strongly preferredMinimum 4 (four) years' Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence work experience required in a manufacturing environmentExperience working in a heavily regulated industry (ex. FDA, EPA) preferredOther Relevant Skills ExpectedProficient at data gathering, analysis and modeling using e.g. MS Office, Minitab, Visio, Power BI, Smartsheet and/or other similar applicationsStrong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Senior ManagementSupervision/Coordination
  • Train, coach and mentor individuals, teams, and projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the Sr. Manager in prioritizing and coordinating improvement activities
  • This role does not directly supervise other GOJO team members
