For over 30 years, RVI Group’s flagship residual value insurance products have protected lessors, investors, and lenders against market value declines in assets and were instrumental in helping clients, who are active worldwide, manage asset risk and lease accounting across multiple asset classes, including passenger vehicle, commercial equipment and commercial real estate.Why This Role Matters:This is a key position responsible for managing accounts and supporting the clients for the Passenger Vehicle residual value insurance business. This includes managing day-to-day client activity, insurance enrollments, claims, policy documents and regular reporting to senior management. The manager also plays an important role in business expansion and account management in new markets outside of North America and China. This position requires interaction with clients, brokers and senior management. In addition, you will work closely with the quantitative analysis and accounting teams.How You'll Contribute:
  • Act as primary contact point for insurance clients regarding general questions and operational matters.
  • Manage renewal and policy modifications with existing clients.
  • Support business development team from initial inquiry to policy issuance.
  • Regularly serve as an internal liaison between the Passenger Vehicle, Quantitative, and Legal departments on underwriting, surveillance and policy questions.
  • Manage weekly reports and client updates for senior management.
  • Manage client insurance enrollment process.
  • Manage processing of and client interaction for PV insurance claims.
  • Manage Aging Report and follow-up on overdue premiums.
  • Manage department Quarterly Business Review document drafting and review.
  • Support year-end planning processes.
  • Provide training and oversight to junior staff as needed.
  • Stay current with auto and insurance industry trends and developments.
  • Efficiently manage projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various departments to streamline operations.
  • Ensure documentation of department process and procedures is up to date.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 7 to 10 years’ Account Management experience
  • 5 years experience with insurance claims management
  • Familiarity with automobile industry, auto leasing and/or finance a plus.
  • Strong written, verbal and analytical skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel. SQL experience is a plus not not required.
  • Capability to develop and articulate well-reasoned perspectives and rationale, verbally and in writing.
  • Data skills, including effective collection, management, analysis and interpretation, a plus.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential alternatives and recommend solutions to meet client and company needs.
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Compensation:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related skills, and experience.Benefits Highlights:Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001’s benefits package.
