- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual SEC including 10-Q, 10-K, and earnings releases.
- Research technical accounting issues, including goodwill, new accounting standards, and ad-hoc transactions (e.g., mergers and acquisitions), and prepare related memorandums.
- Prepare journal entries for stock compensation, noncontrolling interest, consolidations, and ad-hoc transactions.
- Analyze financial statements for fluctuations within SEC filings and to aid auditors.
- Coordinate with SOX, corporate accounting, HR, and operations to gather support for disclosures.
- Prepare accurate internal financial reports for executive management during monthly financial consolidation.
- Coordinate internal control compliance, process design, and documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 2-4 years' experience in accounting, preferably as an auditor in public accounting or within SEC reporting for a public company
- Active CPA License or actively pursuing CPA.
- Demonstrated experience in performing financial statement analysis.
