Primary Purpose of JobManages the accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation and fixed asset functions. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and applicable rules and regulations.Major Job Accountabilities
  • Manages the Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger Reconciliation teams.
  • Ensures timely and accurate recording of vendor and employee reimbursement payments, general ledger account reconciliations and maintenance and fixed asset capitalization and depreciation.
  • Ensures accurate line of business reporting and accounting operational efficiencies.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborates with Project Managers and Business Owners to streamline processes and identify efficiencies and opportunities for expense reductions.
  • Provides assistance and training on accounting issues to all levels and areas of the Bank.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, tax regulations, and other relevant rules and regulations.
  • Participates in testing and advises on projects impacting accounting.
Experience Required
  • Minimum five (5) years of Experience in accounting operations.
  • Minimum two (2) years of Supervisory experience preferred.
Required Skills or Training
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
