
Assistant Controller - Accounting Operations

- Manages the Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger Reconciliation teams.
- Ensures timely and accurate recording of vendor and employee reimbursement payments, general ledger account reconciliations and maintenance and fixed asset capitalization and depreciation.
- Ensures accurate line of business reporting and accounting operational efficiencies.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Collaborates with Project Managers and Business Owners to streamline processes and identify efficiencies and opportunities for expense reductions.
- Provides assistance and training on accounting issues to all levels and areas of the Bank.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, tax regulations, and other relevant rules and regulations.
- Participates in testing and advises on projects impacting accounting.
- Minimum five (5) years of Experience in accounting operations.
- Minimum two (2) years of Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
