As a Customer Care Representative, you will handle inbound calls to assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans. You will provide guidance on prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions. Using empathy and professionalism, you will help simplify the healthcare experience while expanding your own skills and career opportunities.Pay: $19.00hrKey Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound member calls with professionalism, empathy, and patience.
- Explain pharmacy benefits, medication coverage, and mail order services clearly and accurately.
- Multi-task effectively by navigating multiple systems and dual screens while problem-solving.
- Maintain a calm demeanor and adapt communication pace to match the caller.
- Uphold HIPAA and compliance standards.
- 1 year of experience interacting with customers (call center, retail, hospitality, military, etc.).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications.
- Reliable hardwired internet with at least 25/3 upload/download speed (screenshot required).
- Quiet, distraction-free home workspace.
- Ability to be on camera during training and meetings.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ months of healthcare-related experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Ability to show reliability and maintain compliance with scheduling standards.
- Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM local time (minimum 6 weeks).
- After training: Monday–Friday with flexible hours arranged with the business.
- Start Date: 10/17 (Orientation) | Training begins 10/20.
- Last date to clear: 10/10 | Offer acceptance deadline: 9/12.
- This is a safety-sensitive role.
