- Provide administrative support to the payroll team with related tasks and activities.
- Provide general support including photocopying, scanning, faxing documents, etc.
- Order and maintain office supplies, maintain inventory and stock.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.
- Assist with assembling and mailing payroll checks for various departments/divisions
- Complete Unemployment Claim forms
- Respond to Employment Verification requests in a timely manner.
- Complete additional payroll duties as signed
- High School Diploma and one to two years of business school or equivalent combinations of experience and training
- 1-2 years administrative, clerical, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to follow instructions and/or written procedures in a logical/methodical manner
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Able to work well in a team environment and maintain confidential information
- Proficient in use of general office procedures and office machines
- Proficient in English verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner
- Proficient in written communication skills, including business writing skills
- Reliability, dependability and flexibility
