TheCorporation maintainsa balanced portfolio of investments in the securities market and owns property inAnchorage and Kodiak.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the leadershipteam, theExecutiveVicePresident will report to the CEO ofOld Harbor Native Corporation and assume a strategic role in the overall planning of the company. TheExecutive Vice President will beresponsible fortheday‐to‐day operations of Old Harbor NativeCorporation and its shareholderprograms. The positionofferssignificant leadershipand growthpotential within the organizationunderthementorship of the CEO.Requirements
  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar. MBA preferred.
  • Ten (10) years prgressively increasing industry experience and operational knowledge in corporate leadership and /or management.
  • Experience and/or strong understanding of Alaska Native Corporations, native culture and ANCSA.
  • Relevant equivalent of experience and education may be sunstituted.
  • The Candidate must reside in AK.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Familiaritywith government contracting, including the SBA's 8(a) program
  • Understanding of Village Corporations, Tribal issues and the importance of shareholder programs
  • Strong business orientation focused on strategic growth with an understanding of operations, mergers and acquisitions
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, organization growth and employee development initiatives
  • Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to set and adjust multiple priorities
SalaryBase Compensation DOE, with additional bonus potentialCompany Benefits

  • 401k - 100% match on first 3%, 50% on next 3%, maximum of 4.5%
  • Paid time off/sick leave - 240 hours per year
